Perceptual Psychology
We are interested in the perception of space and time in relation to motor processes. We study how motor processes of the own body shape and influence perception. To this end, we use motion tracking (eye tracking, hand tracking, etc.) and virtual reality devices. These methods allow to systematically and realistically manipulate sensory input contingent on movements of observers. With these approaches we aim to unravel the relationships between perception and action, and explore how behavior dynamically adapts to changing environments.
